ABOUT:

We service consumers with varying disabilities: Intellectually Disabled, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Traumatic Brain Injury, and Physically Impaired.

Our adult training center and vocational rehabilitation programs enrich the lives of people with intellectual and physical disabilities through comprehensive, life-changing care, training and supports. We learn the goals of each of our adult members, facilitate the supports and services needed to support their goals, measure the success of our program and evaluate the overall satisfaction of our members. Throughout our services, we are purposeful about infusing member choice whenever possible.


Our Mission:

 

At Brite Life Adult Day Training Program is to enhance the social, educational and physical well-being of each consumer with special needs by providing them with a friendly and caring environment. Brite Life enables people with disabilities to acquire skills that are relevant to the current labor market demands. The goal of Brite Life Adult Training is to aid each individual that walks through our doors to feel more empowered as each day passes when walking out into the world. Our Brite Lifers gain valuable employment skills to make them as independent as possible. We assess each individual based on each their interests and abilities to ensure independent living skills are improved and personal goals are met and/or exceeded . Current programs offered: Gardening, Life Skills (laundry, shopping, financial responsibility, interview preparation, resume building), physical wellness, pet therapy, arts & crafts classes, functional academics.

​Our Staff

Ms. Laing is holds an Ed.S. in Curriculum Instruction Management Administration,  a Masters in Exception Student Education with a reading endorsement, a Bachelors degree and over 20 years of teaching experience. 

Ms. Kerri holds a Masters in Human Resource Management and a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is experienced in resume preparation and interview skills and job coaching.

Ms. Darshana has over 12 years experience in working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and brings with her a huge heart and warm and giving spirit. 

Ms. Geneva has over 20 years experience working with individuals with disabilities as a group home manager and residential supervisor. She brings with her an innate caring heart and a personal fulfilment to help others see their full potential.
